Helen’s Restaurant is Closing

Unfortunately we announce that Helen’s Restaurant on School Street, Kilcock is closing down.

Valerie, Helen’s daughter says:

“Hi All – It is with great regret that I am announcing the closure of yet another business in Kilcock. Helens Restaurant- School Street will cease trading this coming Saturday 19th of Sept. As some of you may know- the proprietor- Helen Noonan is my mother, and she asked me to put this up to sincerely thank all of her loyal customers for their support over the years. She is very sad that this day has come, but unfortunately, she is yet another casualty of the downturn… Thanks Again!!!”

She adds:

“We think it’s important that people realise if they don’t support the local businesses there is going to be a serious problem in Kilcock. Mam had the cafe for years, before any Celtic Tiger and the bigger Kilcock has gotten, the more the local businesses are suffering as people are shopping out of the town!”
