Cookery Demonstration Evenings

Aussie blow-in Heidi moved to Kilcock about 10 years or more ago and started OurKilcock.ie soon after. She's been maintaining it rather sporadically since - with the help of some lovely writers now and again. She makes websites for a living.

chic cuisineThis is a lovely idea by Aisling Lawlor – our own fortnightly chef – Aisling is now hosting cookery demonstration evenings for groups of people. It’s a great idea for a get together with a twist, a alternative Christmas party or a hen’s night. It’s only €35 per person (based on a min of 9 people) and get loads of delicious food whipped up before your eyes – whilst enjoying a glass of mulled wine (it is the Christmas season after all). Check out the sample menu:

Sample Menu for Your Evening

  1. Brie and red onion marmalade Bruschetta
  2. Chicken satay skewers
  3. Smoked salmon blinis with a caper and crème fraiche
  4. Avoca Cheese croquettes
  5. Wild Mushroom, Parmesan and Rocket Crostini
  6. Coronation dip with crudites
  7. Pesto, sun-blushed tomato and mozzarella breads
  8. Red pepper hummus with cumin and garlic spiced pittas
  9. Thai Crab cakes with sweet chilli dip
  10. Marinated Olives
  11. Hot smoked salmon pate

Plus you get a free recipe booklet so you can recreate this morsels time and time again. Mmmmmm… For more information and bookings please contact Aisling on 087 – 9522324.
