Vote for a better Kilcock

Aussie blow-in Heidi moved to Kilcock about 10 years or more ago and started OurKilcock.ie soon after. She's been maintaining it rather sporadically since - with the help of some lovely writers now and again. She makes websites for a living.

AIB’s better Ireland program is giving three Kilcock community groups the opportunity to win lots of cash! Our local Kilcock AIB branch has €10,000 to give to away to three very deserving children’s groups in the area – all three groups are already winners with 1st place receiving €5,000, 2nd place €3,000 and 3rd place €2,000 – our votes however will decide who gets 1st, 2nd and third.

All entrants had to prepare and submit a paper on how they planned to spend the prize money and the following groups were shortlisted:

  • Kilcock Girl Guides
  • 16th Kildare-Kilcock Scout Group
  • St Coca’s Community and Athletics Group

Congratulations!! Now don’t forget to vote 🙂 Voting closes on the 15th March so get to it.
