Walk the Goal Mile

Walk or Run a mile for GOAL. It’s great fun, doesn’t take long and the kids love it. Your support is really needed in these times. GOAL Miles were held at 72 locations throughout Ireland last year, generating over €370,000 for the poorest of the poor.

Taking Place at: North Kildare Sports Club, The Maws, Kilcock
Time: 11 am to 12, Christmas Morning

Pub Quiz in O’Keeffe’s

A pub quiz in O’Keeffe’s pub will be held on Friday the 4th December to raise funds for the Simon Community. A Tables of 4 costs €40. And rumour has it Jimmy Magee quiz master and boxer Bernard Dunne might be making an appearance. A good evening to had by all those who attend!

A pub quiz in O’Keeffe’s pub will be held on Friday the 4th December to raise funds for the Simon Community – a worthy cause for Christmas 2009. Tables of 4 are €40. Rumour has it Jimmy Magee quiz master and boxer Bernard Dunne might be making an appearance. Go along and have some fun!

Fundraiser – Fit for Diabetes

Our Lady's Childrens Hospital

An aerob-a-thon will be held in the GAA on the 8th of November in aid of The Diabetes & Endocrinology Centre of Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin. For those not in know an “aerob-a-thon” is a number of aerobic sessions back to back – in this case all levels of fitness are invited with plenty of breaks and water for those in need.

It should be a afternoon of great fun and you’ll get a FREE tshirt for participating. Water is also provided and finger food will be server to celebrate the completion after 5. Entry is €10 or you can get sponsorship from friends and family and raise a little extra for the hospital. And don’t forget to wear your fitness gear – no jeans allowed!

Date: Sunday 8th of November 2009.
Venue: Kilcock GAA Club.
Time: 2p.m. to 5p.m.
